Projects
Movement as Method is an ongoing body of research that uses endurance running as a framework for drawing, painting and public-facing projects.
Running operates as fieldwork. Routes are experienced physically and translated into drawings, paintings and installations through processes of observation, repetition and reduction. Rather than depicting landscape, the work investigates how rhythm, resistance, duration and spatial awareness can be registered through abstraction.
The projects below document distinct phases within this research, tracing an evolving enquiry into the relationship between movement, perception and form.
