ABOUT ME

I am intrigued and inspired by the natural world. My aim as an artist is to capture the energy of my subject or theme through line and colour. My design focused approach to art has enabled me to work collaboratively with clients to instil this visual energy into a wide and varied range of commercial projects.

Now based in Glasgow after a decade in London, Irish artist Claudine O’Sullivan has gained industry spotlight for her distinctive hand drawn illustrations, featured in the worldwide Apple Pencil campaign, which won the World Illustration Awards Professional Advertising category. Her uniquely traditional drawing style has appealed to clients including MTV, The British Library, Jameson Whiskey, Island Records, Twitter, VHI Healthcare, and Derwent Pencils.

In between commercial projects Claudine hosts workshops and events for Derwent Pencils, the Royal Academy of Arts, Apple, Cass Art, London Graphic Centre and John Lewis. She is also a Derwent Artist Ambassador and Association Of Illustrators Mentor.

Claudine graduated from University of the Arts London with a First Class Honours degree in Graphic Design (2013). Her adaptable, design focused approach to art is reflected in the diversity of her commercial portfolio and client base.

Claudine is a registered member of the Association of Illustrators.
